From its conception, Sunset Shores, Inc. was developed with the vision that the elderly should have alternatives to institutionalization and that nursing home placement should be the choice of last resort. It is our philosophy that the elderly should remain an active and vital part of their community for as long as possible. Sunset Shores assists each one of our clients in living as fully and independently as possible while respecting each client’s dignity and right to free choice.
At Sunset Shores we offer a program of Day Health Services to people unable to live independently in their own home. Key support services are provided for the elderly and the caregiver. We offer a comprehensive program with Medical Services and Social Activities for the elderly. Adult Day Centers are utilized to serve people who don’t necessarily need the continuous care of a nursing home but who may require some supervision during the day. Under the supervision of the Professional Care Team a personalized program of care is prepared to meet the needs of your loved one.
