About Us
Princeton Place is the largest skilled nursing center in the Southwest. Our campus is divided into individual 60 bed units with each unit having its own nursing staff, recreation room and dining area. Because of the size of the facility, we are proud to offer amenities that smaller facilities cannot such as an on-site pharmacy, on-site physician and a remarkable rehabilitation team including on-site respiratory therapists.
Princeton Place strives to provide quality care and professional leadership throughout all our units. We are a privately owned and operated facility with a professional management team. Located in the heart of Albuquerque, our goal is to exceed family and our resident's health care needs with exceptional style and competence.
Princeton Place is proud of our relationship with the Veterans Administration Hospital. Many Veterans call our campus home and we are proud to serve those who have served the United States so bravely and honorably. We regularly offer activities to celebrate their service. Princeton Place is the largest VA contractor for skilled nursing care in the State.
Services
Rehabilitation & Transitional Care
Our goal is to bridge the gap from hospital to home and return your loved one to their functional level after an illness, injury or surgery.
Each resident has an interdisciplinary team which collectively develops a custom care plan designed to enable them to achieve their greatest recovery potential. The care team may include specialty physicians, physical, occupational, respiratory and speech therapists, wound care specialists and nursing staff. Our dynamic team works to maximize the independence of each resident with the goal of returning them home.

Our secure unit is designed to meet the safety needs of our patients without restraint.
Creative Therapy offers residents the opportunity to participate in familiar activities as their comfort and cognitive level allow.
Hospice Care
Many families turn to hospice care to ensure their loved ones live as comfortably as possible. Princeton Place offers a Hospice Care Program that takes the needs of the patient and their families into consideration.
Respite Care
Many families take great joy in providing care to their loved ones so that they can remain at home; however, the physical and emotional consequences for the family caregiver can be overwhelming without support programs such as respite care.
Princeton Place’s Respite Care Program provides the much needed temporary break from the often exhausting challenges faced by those caring for elderly, disabled or chronically ill family members.
Respite care enables families to take vacations and periodic breaks from the physical and emotional demands of full-time care giving while confident in the knowledge that their loved one is being well taken care of in a home-like, safe environment.
