Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, the hospital centered on your care, opened September 1, 2004. LWRMC offers patient-focused medicine and is equipped with advanced technology.

Located just two miles from I-75 and bridging Manatee and Sarasota counties, this new, 120-bed acute care hospital has an extensive system of fully-integrated inpatient and outpatient services that share a single purpose—to provide compassionate, quality patient care.

Patients have access to a medical staff of over 400 physicians and allied health professionals with a comprehensive range of specialties who use technological advances in medicine.

Back Pain Relief

If you suffer from chronic back pain, you should know that Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton now offers a procedure called mild, for minimally invasive lumbar decompression that may be able to help. It's an effective, minimally invasive procedure for treating Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (LSS). The mild procedure can usually be performed on an outpatient basis. Most patients can go home the same day and resume normal activities in just a few days.

Orthopaedic physicians at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center are board-certified and highly experienced. They have completed advanced fellowship training in their specialties. Their expertise includes diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries, fractures and pain, as well as coordinating rehabilitation programs for patients.

Noninvasive Cardiology Services

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center offers a comprehensive range of cardiac services, from community educational programs that promote health and wellness to treating acute cardiovascular problems. Our highly trained staff and physicians provide patients with an individualized approach to heart care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.

The Level One Cath Lab at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center includes:
