We are sisters, Hope Victor and Karen Mandell, who started this business after deciding to hang up our business suits after a combined 50+ years and using our work/life experience to help you!
Prior to starting “It’s Personal”, Hope’s background was as a Marketing executive where she worked for over 25 years while raising two daughters. Karen was a Vice President in Human Resources for a national major retailer for over 25 years. Both of us have experienced firsthand the challenges of managing crazy schedules, juggling work and personal commitments while trying to maintain a high quality of life. We always wished there was someone who could take care of all our “to do’s”… now we are here to do that for you!

It’s Personal provides personal assistance and concierge services to busy executives, families and individuals in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County, Florida. We are available to take care of all the endless to-do list items and run all those time consuming errands that you really don’t have time for during your busy life. Our mission is to make your life easier. We want to help you gain valuable time and find balance between family, work and other priorities.
It’s Personal is a Personal Concierge, Personal Assistant service catering to individuals, families, new mothers/fathers, seniors and busy executives. We organize the lives of our clients and ease their daily stress, while maximizing time to spend with their families or doing the activities they love to do. Some of the services we provide are dropping off/picking up dry cleaning and prescriptions, grocery or personal shopping, seasonal home opening and closings, handle service calls, run general errands and much, much more! We are available to take care of all the endless to-do list items so you can focus on more important things – like enjoying life!

Rates and Policies
Most errands and services run $30.00 per hour for the first hour with a one-hour minimum. The hourly rate includes the first 20 miles from our office (zip 33322).
Errands and services that require us to travel more than 20 miles round trip will incur a $0.50 per mile fee.
Any purchase or extra fees paid by us on your behalf in the course of running errands or providing services, is over and above the hourly rate. For example, should you ask us to do your grocery shopping and pick up your prescriptions at the pharmacy, you must reimburse us for those costs. Receipts will always be provided.
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance of agreed upon time or will be subject to a $10.00 cancellation fee.
SPECIAL PACKAGES & BENEFITS
These packages offer discounted rates and allow you to maximize our services on an ongoing basis. These packages were designed to simplify access to our services and allow you to choose among various levels of assistance. As a monthly customer you gain access to priority scheduling at all times.
Vacation Package – $100.00 per week (5 days)
Includes one daily visit to check inside and outside your home. Gather mail and newspaper, rotate lights, water plants and other household tasks.
Freshman Package – $80.00 per month
Includes 3 hours of services per month, additional hours charged at standard hourly rate.
Sophomore Package – $150.00 per month
Includes 6 hours of services per month, additional hours charged at standard hourly rate.
Junior Package - $240.00 per month
Includes 10 hours of services per month, additional hours charged at standard hourly rate.
Senior Package – Build your own! Let us design a plan and rate that meets your needs.

A. A concierge is available to assist you with your everyday tasks and errands, to plan a party or handle your correspondence. We are here to help you with both big and small tasks. Just give us a call or send us an email and we will help you organize, streamline and balance your life.
Q. How much notice do you need?
A. We prefer 24 hour notice however will do our best to accommodate any emergency requests.
Q. Is your company insured?
A. Yes, we are 100% insured.
Q. What method of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, personal checks, American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
Q. Will my credit card be charged as a deposit?
A. No, we will only charge your credit card if we do receive payment for services rendered upon completion.
Q. Are vendor charges, materials, merchandise, taxes included in your hourly rate?
A. No they are not included and will be billed separately.
Q. How much do you charge for your services?
A: Our hourly rates range from $30.00 to $50.00 per hour depending on the service and the time required. Refer to Rates and Policies page.
