Blending an 80-year tradition of excellence with a bold building and approach to quality of life, Huntersville Oaks offers the most progressive skilled-nursing care and rehabilitation in north Mecklenburg County. Located in Huntersville, just north of Charlotte off I-77, Huntersville Oaks is designed as a village of connecting households.

Each short-term rehabilitation guest and long-term care resident will find a carpeted private room with bright windows, window seats, a desk and residential furniture; individual temperature control; cable TV, wireless internet and a ready-to-use phone. Every private room and two-bedroom suite has a full quarry-tiled bath with a roll-in shower. Four private spa rooms are also available for a warm soak and gentle jet massage.

Each household of 21 rooms has an inviting fully-accessible kitchen, living room, dining room, screen porch and garden, staffed 24-hours a day by a household service team. Three buffet-style meals with a variety of choices are prepared by Morrison's chefs daily and served in the household dining rooms. Substantial snacks, sandwiches and a variety of drinks are available in household kitchens 24-hours a day.

A central “Main Street” serves all eight households with a gift shop, retail café, hair salon, wellness center, chapel, meeting spaces, private family dining room and children's playhouse. Club rooms, cybercafés and lending libraries in each neighborhood provide opportunities for many leisure and social activities.

Professional care, home-like atmosphere
Children, pets and plants, baking projects in the kitchens, and the closeness of a small committed staff in each household help fill people's needs for companionship, giving care and provide variety and spontaneity. Household teams are trained to honor resident choice, dignity and privacy. Residents are free to choose when and how they get up, bathe, go to bed, receive care and spend their time.

At Huntersville Oaks, we provide:

  • 24-hour professional nursing care and physician coverage;
