Home to Home's mission is to provide personal, knowledgeable and compassionate assistance to seniors and their families as they search for Retirement Communities, Assisted Living Communities, Personal Care Communities, Alzheimer's Care Communities and Respite Stays in the Louisville and Southern Indiana area.
Finding senior living can be a time consuming and stressful challenge. Home to Home eases this time and stress by knowing our local facilities and the services they provide. Home to Home refers seniors to those communities that meet their wants and needs, and personally assists them throughout the whole process of finding senior living.
Knowing first hand the financial commitment of senior living, it was important to owner Sharon Bohnert that Home to Home's services be offered to seniors and their families at no charge.
To accomplish this, Sharon spent months meeting with the Administrators and Marketing Directors of our local communities. She introduced them to Home to Home, toured their facilities, and gathered all the important details of their communities. Sharon also used this time to discuss “partnering” with Home to Home, where the community agrees to pay a fee if and only when we bring them a senior who actually moves in.
Although this was a time consuming process, the response was tremendous. With this format, Sharon truly believes that Home to Home is a win-win situation for everyone involved. Not only do we provide a valuable service to seniors and their families at no charge, but Home to Home is also a marketing tool for our local communities.
How Home to Home works…
- Home to Home is contacted by a senior and/or family in search of senior living.
- Home to Home personally meets with the senior and/or family to assess their needs for senior living based on such things as required level of care, financial resources, location, time constraints, and personal lifestyle preferences.
- Home to Home determines which communities meet the senior’s needs and contacts those communities to schedule tours.
- Home to Home accompanies the senior and/or family on tours of the communities.
- Home to Home assists with any needed follow-up, and accompanies the senior and/or family on any additional tours of communities.
- Once a community has been chosen by the senior and/or family, Home to Home assists in the completion of the required paperwork for admission and the scheduling of the move.
