Bethesda Health Group provides senior care and retirement communities with an equal focus on superior quality and value. As a 118-year-old non-profit organization dedicated to creating supportive and caring lifestyles for St. Louis seniors, Bethesda embodies a rich heritage of respect for our elders.

Bethesda is firmly anchored on four fundamental commitments:

Our team promises to bring needed services to St. Louis seniors in the most efficient and desirable way – from 24/7 skilled nursing, to innovative memory care environments, to in-home assistance – Bethesda Health Group delivers care wherever St. Louis seniors call home.
• Nurture outstanding employees. Bethesda is comprised of more than 1,100 skilled and caring individuals who offer care, nutritious food, safe environments and nurturing activities. Bethesda invests critical resources into ongoing training and education to ensure employee satisfaction and skill levels are high.
• Deliver important human services at a value. As a non-profit organization, Bethesda Health Group is able to re-invest in the organization, ensuring that St. Louis seniors have access to high-quality services that are in-part supported through charitable donations and our own Bethesda Health Group Foundation.
• Lead with specialty care services. As large segments of the population age, offering services that address unique, age-related health issues is important. For example. Bethesda Health Group has developed specific strengths in Alzheimer's disease management, rehabilitation services and medical-model day club options.

Hospice Care

Perhaps no aspect of care is more precious than hospice. Rooted in compassion, Bethesda's hospice team of professionals including, nurses, CNAs, social workers, chaplains, dietitians, therapists and physicians work hand-in-hand with our long-term care staff to provide the special medical, emotional and personal attention required for patients and families affected by life-limiting illnesses. Bethesda's expert hospice care is available to seniors wherever they call home whether home is a skilled nursing facility or their private residence.

To enhance our hospice service, Bethesda also offers a monthly Hospice Grief Support Group, providing a supportive setting for families and a variety of bereavement and counseling options.

Hospice support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
