Rachel Carson

Although born in Greenville, SC, Rachel grew up on St. Simons Island, GA. After graduation from Glynn Academy, she earned her BS from Furman and Physical Therapy degree from Duke. She was a physical therapist for over 36 years, 16 years of that in home health in Chatham County. Since 1999, she has been the owner of Home Instead Senior Care, a non-medical company serving Chatham, Effingham, Bryan, Jasper, and Beaufort counties. Her mission is to enhance quality of life and assist mature adults to maintain their independence as long as possible. She also earned the designation of Certified Senior Advisor.
