Patti Lyons

Patti Lyons has been the executive director of Senior Citizens for eleven years. During that time, she has served on the Georgia Council on Aging, the Georgia Gerontology Society, and the Coalition on Aging. She has also been appointed to serve on several blue-ribbon task forces regarding aging issues by the governor of Georgia. Her background includes leadership in nonprofit agencies in the states of Tennessee and Texas. She has served as executive aide to the governor of Tennessee, as well as the marketing director for the Fort Worth Transit Authority. However, her responsibilities as the primary caregiver for her mom have been the most rewarding endeavor so far.
