We opened our home that I grew up in as a residential care home for the elderly after caring for my grandfather with Alzheimer's for four years. When he passed away we decided that this type of care was a positive alternative for someone with this disease because of the constant attention he needed. We made a promise to him that our family would meet his needs as he progressed further with this horrible illness. Now, this is what we are able to offer other families in their time of need. Our family has been running our home as an elder homecare facility for over 10 years. There are two new locations in Brecksville and Seven Hills that are staffed 24 hours a day. We are able to cater to residents on an individual basis because the ratio of caregivers to residents is 1:5. Some people thrive in a smaller home like setting with less distraction and stimulation. Your family member is our number one priority and with fewer residents their voice will always be heard.
