Memory Care

The Waterford in Smyrna’s Memory Care Program offers both structure and flexibility to ensure that every resident’s unique needs can be met. We provide assistance with dressing, bathing, eating, toileting and other activities of daily living. In addition, there are activities scheduled each day specially designed to physically and mentally stimulate the residents so that the highest quality of life may be maintained for as long as possible.

The following services and amenities are included in the monthly memory care base rate:

    * Weekly housekeeping and additional service if needed

Silver Service

Three delicious and nutritious chef planned meals served daily

• Utilities included (TV and phone extra)
• Staff on site 24-hours a day
• Educational and social activities program that includes regular community outings
• Emergency call systems, individual climate controls, kitchenettes, refrigerators and walk-in showers
• Minor set up assistance with bathing and dressing
• Medication, meal and activity reminders
• One housekeeping service per week
• Van service for physician appointments

Gold Service

Includes all of silver service amenities plus the following:

• Medication administration
• Reminders and escorts to activities and meals
• Standby assistance with bathing and dressing up to 3 times weekly
• Assistance with self-managed incontinence
• One additional housekeeping service per week if requested
• Personal laundry service, excluding dry cleaning

Platinum Service

Includes all of silver and gold services plus the following:

• Medication and special medical conditions management
• Daily multiple escorts to activities and meals
• Daily assistance with bathing and dressing
• Daily escorts to activities and meals
• Daily housekeeping if needed
