About Us

Imagine living where you know and care about your neighbors, where you share common interests and backgrounds with people your own age. However, residents at Warm Beach Senior Community don't have to imagine. They live with active seniors who are 62 years and older in a place that pulses with life.

Residents exercise their bodies in sit aerobics or water aerobics classes and stretch their minds in creative writing classes. They nourish their spirits in Bible studies and prayer groups. Activities address the arts, music, reading, exercise, education and special interests.

Volunteering is a key in community life, with about 80 percent of the residents sharing their time and talents. They visit the sick, serve their fellow residents in a restaurant-style dining room, answer phones, and more. During their working years, they were leaders in their churches and communities and are not about to stop now!

Warm Beach Senior Community residency is open to all eligible persons without regard to race, color, national origin, disability status, religion or sex. Warm Beach Senior Community is a nonprofit corporation organized under Washington State laws. It is exempt from Federal income taxes under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

With God’s help, residents, staff and board members strive to be collectively a Christ-centered, people-focused organization. Our goal is to live out our mission statement:

“Warm Beach Senior Community provides quality housing and supportive services in a serene, natural setting. We demonstrate Christ’s love by:
(1) preserving the dignity of residents, staff and volunteers, (2) addressing physical, spiritual, social and emotional needs, and (3) fostering fullness of life and independence.”

Our History

Warm Beach History The founders of Warm Beach Senior Community envisioned a peaceful home where ministers, missionaries, and other Christian workers could retire and live out their lives, surrounded by people who have the same commitment to faith and service.

In partnership with the Free Methodist Church, their dream became a reality when they opened the 40-apartment complex known as Warm Beach Manor in 1967. From there, the community expanded rapidly. The health care center was added in 1975, and fifty-five apartments were added by 1978. Two years later, the Manor Estates Mobile Home Park opened. The most recent expansion of the Warm Beach Community came about in 1995, with the opening of the Cedar Court assisted living facility.

The community continues to grow and expand in different ways. However, it’s mission to provide the best possible care for residents, regardless of income level, with an unwavering devotion to God, has never changed.

Come Visit Us

Warm Beach is a beautiful place. Set amidst the woods in view of the Puget Sound, the continuing care retirement community features rhododendrons, ferns, roses and flowering plants. Within this lovely setting, distinct neighborhoods emerge, joined by wide walking paths.

48 sites for manufactured homes. Residents own their homes and lease their lots from Warm Beach.

Village
55 single-level apartments in one-, two- and three-bedroom sizes.

Manor Apartments
42 single-level apartments for those who meet HUD’s income qualifications.

Beachwood Apartments
29 apartments with meals, services and amenities under one roof.

Health Care:

Cedar Court Assisted Living
Health services in a homelike setting. 33 apartments.

Warm Beach Health Care Center
Skilled nursing facility welcoming residents for short-term or long-term stays as well as rehabilitation services.

Rehabilitation Services

In-patient and out-patient physical, occupational and speech therapy.
