pride ourselves in providing the best in long term and nursing home care for our residents. Twinbrook is conveniently located on Dutchman's Lane just minutes from Baptist Hospital East ( www.baptisteast.com ) and Norton Suburban Hospital ( www.nortonhealthcare.com ) and less than ten minutes from the downtown medical center. Our Louisville Assisted Living facility, Twinbrook Hotel Apartments, is located on our campus, as well, to serve the needs of those who do not need the extensive services of our nursing facility. Long Term Care
Twinbrook has been providing long term care to Louisville residents since 19
60. Our facility offers private and semi-private rooms, spacious dining and common areas and beautiful courtyards to enjoy the outdoors. We provide three nutritious meals daily, activities tailored to the needs of our residents, 24 hour per day nursing services, medication administration, physical, occupational and speech therapies, pharmacy services and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) such as bathing, toileting, grooming, eating, walking and dressing. Our facility has a full sprinkler system and has fire and smoke detectors throughout to make it as safe as possible. Our exit doors have magnetic locks as well as exit alarms to alert us when a confused resident attempts to leave the facility unattended. Most laboratory and pharmacy services can be performed onsite to minimize the need to transfer to another facility to obtain them.
Rehabilitation and Therapy
Twinbrook's therapy department provides physical, occupational and speech therapies in accordance with physician orders and Medicare and Medicaid guidelines. Our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit specializes in assisting residents to build their strength, endurance and confidence in order to return home as quickly as possible. Each of our Subacute Rehabilitation suites offers a private full bathroom with a handicapped accessible shower, living room, bedroom, telephone, cable t.v., nurse call stations and attractive furnishings designed to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Assisted Living
Twinbrook Hotel Apartments is a Louisville Assisted Living Facility conveniently located adjacent to Twinbrook Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center and just down the street from Norton Suburban Hospital and Baptist Hospital East. Residents enjoy private apartments, three meals daily, social events, transportation to shopping, twenty four hour assistance with bathing, dressing and other personal needs as well as medication reminders.
