Power Chairs

Sometimes referred to as electric wheelchairs or power wheelchairs, power chairs offer superior in-home maneuverability, fit almost anywhere and turn on a dime. Power chairs are primarily designed to help you get around indoors.

Mobility Scooter

Power electric scooters have either three or four wheels and steer using handlebars — much like a bicycle. Electric scooters are ideal for outside activities, as they glide smoothly and easily over a variety of surfaces.

Use the handlebars on the steering tiller to turn left or right
Portable versions can be stowed in the trunk of a car for travel
Travel best on even surfaces, though some can handle rougher terrain

For stairs or elevation changes in your home, single- and multi-fold wheelchair ramps, solid wheelchair ramps and threshold ramps are perfect helping you stay safe on your power chair or scooter. You may also want to consider a stair lift for inside your home to get to a second story or basement.

Vehicle ramps help you take your power chair or scooter in and out of your car, truck or SUV when you want to take your mobility on the road. These include hitch-mounted vehicle ramps and extended reach wheelchair ramps.
