Our Apartments

Living at The Laurels is on a monthly rental basis, with no buy-in fee required.   Our assisted living apartments all have individually controlled central heating and air conditioning, private accessible bathrooms, and a wireless emergency response system.

Our seniors community has a variety of enjoyable amenities such as a library, computer room, entertainment areas, private dining room, and common areas for relaxing and enjoying the company of other residents.

Our Dining

Our dining includes three delicious chef-prepared and nutritionally balanced meals each day, with a variety of choices. Residents dine in our sun-filled dining room in the company of other residents.  

Our Care

At The Laurels assisted living community, our care-givers include licensed nursing professionals and personal caregivers who help our residents as needed with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.  We customize care plans as needed and adjust the care as each individual's needs or preferences change.

Our Activities

The Laurels has a full-time Activity Director who keeps the schedule full of a variety of activities, events, support groups, outings, and more.

The Haven in the Village at Carolina Place is an Alzheimer’s and dementia care residence nestled near the heart of Pineville, North Carolina, just south of Charlotte. We are adjacent to Carolina Place Mall and close to the upscale Ballantyne area of Charlotte.

The Haven is designed, programmed and staffed for individuals with early, middle and late stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Tailored to enhance dignity and foster independence, The Haven offers a progressive approach which encourages family participation through care planning, education, special events and support groups.  We have a nurse on site 24-hours a day, along with our wonderful staff who works to meet our residents' various needs. We also offer on-site rehabilitation services for residents who need physical therapy.
