Independent Living
Independent Living is for the senior who wants to maintain a rich and rewarding life, without the responsibilities of running a household. At The Forum at Memorial Woods you are given a maintenance-free lifestyle with options: choice of floor plans, restaurant-style dining, housekeeping services, exercise and wellness programs, and much more.

Our retirement community is an ideal setting for active seniors who want to focus on the things most enjoyed in life, but yet who also want to have assistance available, should it be needed.

Assisted Living
Assisted living residents are those who do not need skilled nursing care, but may need assistance with some aspects of daily life.  This can include  personal care such as dressing and grooming, monitoring of health, safety, and overall well-being, coordination of outside health care providers, assistance with medication, companionship, and more.

Our assisted living residents at The Forum at Memorial Woods live in their own private apartment within our community so that they have the support and services they need, while continuing to be as independent and active as possible.

Skilled Nursing
Our skilled nursing services provide 24-hour supervision and sophisticated medical services for residents who have more complex medical needs or health challenges.

Our resident-oriented care at The Forum at Memorial Woods means that we get to know each resident individually to provide the best possible care and services for his or her individual needs. We also aim to provide a home-like atmosphere so our residents can enjoy peace of mind and comfort at our community.

Rehabilitation Services
The goal of our rehabilitation is always to maximize independence. Per a physician's directions, our rehabilitation team works with residents with a variety of needs. We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology and much more.

Alzheimer's/Memory Care
At The Forum at Memorial Woods, our award-winning Alzheimer’s care program, called Bridge to Rediscovery, helps our residents rediscover the joy in everyday life. It also gives families a way to communicate and connect when they visit.

Along with providing daily living assistance and coordinating any necessary medical care, we are dedicated to addressing our residents’ cognitive needs. Each staff member receives intensive training specifically in Alzheimer’s care.

Short-term Stays
The Forum at Memorial Woods also offers short-term stays for seniors who need care after a hospital stay, or when family members travel out of town or simply need a short respite break from the stresses of caregiving.

Short-term stays can vary in length. Short-term guests enjoy housekeeping services, dining, community activities, transportation and other amenities, as well as coordination of any necessary medical care and help with daily living activities.

Independent Living

The Forum at Memorial Woods offers luxury high-rise retirement living. From its dramatic architecture to its lovely living room and community areas, The Forum exudes warmth and elegance. Residents are proud to have family and friends visit, and often invite guests to dine or enjoy evening entertainment. The Forum at Memorial woods offers a wonderful senior lifestyle – with new friends to meet, first-class dining, and a full calendar of stimulating social and cultural activities.

The Forum is a rental retirement community. Monthly fees for independent living residents include daily continental breakfast and choice of lunch or dinner in our gracious dining room. Apartments feature gracious living/dining rooms, large bedrooms, generous closets, kitchens, and options such as balconies, dens, sun rooms, and additional storage areas. Additionally, wonderful activities, amenities and services are included such as cable television, weekly housekeeping, an indoor parking garage, use of all community areas and all utilities included (except telephone).

Rental fees vary based on apartment floor plan and square footage. There is a one-time community fee that covers maintenance for all grounds and common areas – and is paid only once no matter how long a resident lives at The Forum.

Assisted Living

What makes assisted living at The forum at Memorial Woods especially appealing is its emphasis on residents’ wellness instead of their frailties. Our professional staff’s orientation and training is designed to foster independence and quality of life.

The gracious and varied community areas provide a comfortable environment for the residents and their families to enjoy. All apartments are private and there era many floor plans to choose from. Each apartment suite features large windows, mini-blinds, wall-to-wall carpeting, and a private bathroom. Residents furnish their own apartments, or we can arrange for furnishings at additional cost. The beautiful dining room provides residents with three nutritious meals daily and is served restaurant style and offers many choices. Special dietary needs can be accommodated.

Again emphasizing wellness, dignity, security, and comfort, three levels of care area offered at The Forum at Memorial Woods, with an individualized care plan for each resident. In this way we are able to provide as much or as little assistance as each resident needs to maintain his or her independences and quality of life.

Prices in assisted living are determined by the floor plan chosen and the level of care each resident requires. An assessment will be done prior to move in by our nurse to determine the appropriate level of care.
