Taylor Care Center

Taylor Care Center has a 5-star rating from the Agency for Health Care Administration.  This 120-bed nursing Caring for Alzheimer and dementia retireesfacility has been in operation since 1983 and provides individualized care for its residents and support for their families. The staff is extensively trained in the aging process.

The beauty of the Taylor Care Center campus plays a great part in its popularity with seniors. Nestled among 32 acres of natural wooded surroundings, the community's atmosphere of tranquility and peace pervades the grounds. Adding to this peaceful atmosphere are lush gardens, walkways, shaded patios, fountains, and benches where residents spend time outside in reflection or enjoying family and friends.  It's a home removed from the chaos and noise of the city life, a place where residents may enjoy senior living in a quiet serene environment.

With more that 20 years of dedicated service, Taylor Care Center has become known for its individualized care of residents. The specific needs of each resident are determined by staff members extensively trained in the aging process. Using the information, a care program is developed to ensure improvement of residents' daily life and well-being.

Taylor Care Center provides private and semi private rooms with individualized care, including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, respite care and hospice care.

Serving seniors is more than a tradition for Taylor Care Center; it is a commitment to residents and to each other, to uphold the founding principle by which Taylor Residences was created, “to provide individuals age 62 and older with affordable housing in a community that values independence, privacy and dignity.

We began our fund raising effort by appealing to our board of directors and employees.  We received cash and commitments for approximately $50,000 in 2009.  This indicates an overwhelming support by our board and employees who are dedicated to our mission.
