At Sherrill House we are committed to the principle of our motto "Diligunt Sanant" or "They Who Care, Heal." Located in the vibrant Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, we are minutes away from world renowned hospitals such as Brigham and Women's, Beth Israel/Deaconess Medical Center, New England Baptist, Faulkner, Boston Medical Center and Massachusetts General.

Patients needing rehabilitation following surgery or other illness will be admitted to our Return to Home™ program. This comprehensive rehabilitation program is tailored to the needs and capabilities of each patient. Rehabilitation services are provided in our fully-equipped sunlit gym overlooking the Jamaicaway, by an in-house, multidisciplinary, professional staff of physical, occupational and speech therapists. Treatment is designed to facilitate our residents' and patients' independence, and promote healing and the highest level of functioning, as quickly as possible. We offer rehabilitation services on an inpatient basis, up to 7 days / week.

The Special Care Program is based on the knowledge that people continue to change, grow and adapt, even with a chronic illness. Sherrill House has developed a pioneering relationship with the Lewy Body Dementia Association, and is leading the way in the differential diagnosis and treatment of Lewy body disease, Alzheimer’s and other neurological disorders. The program is designed to:

• Accommodate the needs of residents, families and friends during the final stages of life.
