About Us

The Robert E Lee is a privately owned senior care center and skilled nursing facility that strives to meet the needs of each resident while maintaining their privacy, dignity and integrity. We are a Southern Indiana skilled nursing home and rehabilitation center serving residents of Floyd County and surrounding areas. Our professional and caring staff is available to provide personal care for those residents requiring daily living assistance or complex skilled nursing care 24 hours a day. We also offer respite care services for to relieve individuals or families involved in caring for a loved one who is no longer physically or mentally capable of providing their care on a daily basis.

As a service of The Robert E Lee, our in-house therapy program offers unique rehabilitation services to all of our Guests. We offer physical, occupational and speech therapies with our own full-time staff. Specific therapy services are based on the initial clinical assessment of each Guest. To supplement therapy sessions, our nurses and CNA’s are trained to assist our Guests with activities of daily living and provide ongoing education that will benefit our Guest when they return home.

The Robert E Lee offers a full-time in-house therapy and rehabilitation team. We provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our goal is to assist each individual to achieve their highest possible level of function and independence.

The Robert E Lee offers the full spectrum of treatment for injuries and other conditions. This includes rehabilitation from hip and knee fractures, dislocations, or replacements, spine and shoulder surgeries, and other orthopedic conditions.

Our therapist are also trained and experienced in treating strokes, open heart and by-pass surgeries, and surgical wound care. Robert E Lee also offers restorative programs to further assist our residents to achieve success in making the transition from daily intensive therapy to requiring less assistance.

Long Term Care

Our dedicated medical team provides a full spectrum of nursing and specialty services 24 hours a day. Our professional and caring staff is available to provide personal care for those residents requiring daily living assistance or complex skilled nursing treatment that is based on the individual resident’s needs.
