Reo Vista Healthcare Center is a gorgeous facility with individualized care. We offer a unique atmosphere and experience for our residents with a variety of amenities. We specialize in orthopedic post surgery rehab, kidney care (including dialysis,) skin care, stroke and heart rehabilitation. We offer complimentary massages by our massage therapist in a spa setting every Tuesday afternoon to help our residents with their care. Other amenities include dining in our beautiful quaint dining room with a restaurant atmosphere including wait staff, salad bar, and fresh soups. At Reo Vista Healthcare we have a unique outdoor gate training course which includes three different surfaces to better serve our residents with their rehabilitation.

Transitions are never easy and we ease the process by providing an environment where residents and guests feel informed and comfortable. We understand the importance of creating a comfortable and nurturing atmosphere, whether residents stay for short-term treatment or long-term care.

Alzheimer's Care

Our nurses work with the resident's family to create a comfortable environment including simple routines and visual cues as a positive substitute for diminishing mental processes.

Diabetes Management

Our experienced nurses provide help with all aspects of managing diabetes including: blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration and tracking, exercise plan, menu planning, education and more.

Restorative Nursing Program

At Reo Vista Healthcare Center we seek to maximize the quality of life for our long-term care population, who require a specialized restorative program. Of course, this service is included in the room and board fee.

Rehabilitation Services

Our experienced rehabilitation team is committed to providing outstanding results and excellent quality of care. Residents are empowered through individualized programs to reach goals of increased independence and ability. Resident families are also encouraged to participate in therapy sessions, caregiver education, and training.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapy team works toward specific goals of achieving the residents' highest functional level of independence. Physical therapy focuses on identification and rehabilitation of individuals with physical impairment and pain, as well as future injury prevention. Following evaluation, our experienced physical therapists develop an individualized treatment program. The goal is to achieve safety in a variety of areas.

Occupational Therapy

Our professional occupational therapists use task-directed activities in the treatment of our residents whose functional abilities, daily activities and independence have been impaired by illness, injury or aging.

Occupational therapy assists our residents in adapting to their social and physical environment by mastering tasks essential for daily living. Our occupational therapists may work with residents who have debilitating arthritic conditions or those with difficulty bathing, dressing and other activities of daily living. They assist residents with impaired vision and/or hearing to function well in their environment.

Speech Therapy

Our speech therapists provide a range of interventions to assess and help restore abilities in the areas of communication, swallowing and cognition. Treatment programs are designed to help residents affected by stroke, brain injury, dementia, and other neurological disorders. Our professionals also work with residents suffering from hearing impairment, respiratory illnesses, and complex medical conditions.

Activity Program

A positive and uplifting atmosphere can set the tone for a resident's stay. Reo Vista Healthcare Center employs outgoing and friendly professional staff to create social programs activities. They often specialize activities to match the capabilities and needs of each resident. This also has a powerful impact in the healing process.

Each resident is given a calendar to keep them informed of upcoming events such as birthday parties, movies, musical programs, outings and other special events. Friends and families are always welcome to visit and attend our special events.
