Our nursing department provides excellent care combined with dignity for our residents. Professionally staffed around the clock, we give your loved one comfort and specialized care.

Restorative Nursing

We seek to maximize the quality of life for our long-term care population and offer them specialized restorative services. Our goal is to maintain or improve each resident's highest functional ability.

Rehabilitation Services

Each of our residents comes to us with very different and specific rehab needs. Our entire rehabilitation team is committed to create individualized therapy programs that directly answer those specific needs. We encourage the resident to achieve their maximum potential of independence and ability.

Activities Program

A positive and uplifting atmosphere is vital to the success of healing, recovery and rehabilitation. Poway Healthcare Center employs outgoing and friendly professional staff to create social programs and activities to fit the residents' needs. We provide a monthly activity calendar to each resident to keep them informed of upcoming events. Friends and families are always welcome to visit and attend our special events.

Social Services

Social services provide essential information, manage requests and concerns, coordinate appointments, maintain contact and open communication between the facility, families and the residents, help in care planning and discharge planning for each resident. We stand up for resident's rights and strive to make Poway Healthcare Center their home.

Rehabilitation Services

We look forward to exceeding your expectations. If you are here for rehabilitation, your therapy program will begin promptly after your arrival. Our therapy team is staffed with full time clinicians who are highly committed to helping you and your family achieve your goals.

Our team of physical, occupational and speech therapists are here to assist you and/or your family member to regain their lost independence. No matter how long your stay, our team of highly skilled professionals will help facilitate a return to the highest level of function possible.

We ask that you have comfortable clothes and supportive shoes to wear during your therapy sessions. We also encourage family members to GET INVOLVED! We invite you to set up appointments with your assigned therapists to observe therapy sessions and receive training on how to help your loved one with the transition home.
