About Us

Parkshore Senior Community is one of the premier senior housing communities in Minneapolis. Located in the heart of St. Louis Park adjacent to Wolf Lake Park, our independent-living, assisted-living, and memory care apartments are located in a “walk around” neighborhood with area amenities that include  Byerly's, Target, and Park Nicollet Clinic.

Our independent and assisted living buildings are connected to provide easy access to a variety of services and programs.

Living Options

Senior Apartments

The apartment homes at Parkshore Place are designed for today’s active seniors. Choose from spacious one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den and two-bedroom apartment styles. Apartment features include generous closet space, eat-in kitchens, neutral décor, washer/dryer hookups, and balconies in select floor plans. Each apartment also has a 24-hour emergency pull cord system to alert the front desk Concierge.

Imagine a stimulating community where residents come from all walks of life and all areas of the country. You’ll love the active lifestyle you’ve chosen. Take a morning exercise class. Make an appointment in the salon for a haircut or manicure. Go out with friends on our shuttle to tour a museum. Start your day with breakfast or lunch in our Bistro. Finish your day with a chef-prepared meal in our dining room. Target, Byerly’s, Park Nicollet Medical Center and other conveniences are just outside the campus.

Assisted Living

For those who desire personal care and support, Parkwood Shores is the wise choice for assisted living. Individual apartments offer privacy and the feeling of home. Studio, one and two-bedroom apartments include a kitchen, private bath and dining/living rooms. Close at hand are lovely common areas for socializing and meeting new friends. Meal times are treated as special occasions with tableside service, restaurant-style menus and entree options. The dining room is decorated to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere that is sure to please residents and family alike.

Our home care provider, AgeWell, designs personalized care plans encouraging independence and offers the support needed to live in a private apartment home. An array of daily scheduled activities offer many opportunities to stay active and involved.

Memory Care

Parkshore Senior Campus offers a positive alternative for the person who needs specialized care related to Alzheimer’s or dementia. Our Reflections memory care program is designed to celebrate each person's life and contributions in a supportive environment where residents may age in place. Staff members are specially trained to care for people with memory loss and to be proactive in meeting each individual's needs.

The Reflections philosophy is to provide positive everyday experiences that give meaning and value to the lives of residents.  This is accomplished through involvement in homelike routines, a specially designed, secure environment, support of family, and connections to the community.

Reflections is a neighborhood within the senior assisted living community. It includes a secured living area with a family-style dining room, living room, deck, and individual studio or one bedroom apartment homes, each with a private bathroom. The daily life activities focus on past experiences giving feelings of success and accomplishment.

Each individual person is celebrated through reminiscing and sharing of life histories and stories familiar to them.

Personalized services are provided by our Resident Care team 24-hours daily and case management is provided by a Registered Nurse. Respite services are available for short-term stay needs.

Reflections offers educational programs, an on-site library with current information about memory care, and regular meetings for involved family members and friends.
