Therapy

For those who come to North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center for rehabilitation services, our skilled therapists will provide a physician-directed program of physical, occupational and speech therapy customized to help you regain your strength and restore your lifestyle.

Physical Therapy: Our carefully selected therapists work with you on strengthening and retraining to allow you to become more independent with walking and mobility. Also, our therapists use exercise and therapeutic techniques to increase joint movement, muscle strength, endurance, balance, coordination, mobility and to alleviate pain.

Occupational Therapy: You will work with the occupational therapists to regain or retain daily living skills while recovering from an illness or injury, especially after a hospital stay

Speech Therapy: The skilled language pathologist provides a specialized program if you are coping with speech, language, comprehension or swallowing difficulties

Skilled Nursing

At North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center, we offer personalized skilled nursing services. Our team of dedicated and compassionate nursing professionals works together with your family and physician to provide the highest quality care. Services are tailored to the specific needs of our individual residents and are delivered by staff specially trained to honor and enhance the lives of all of our residents through their compassion and commitment.

Skilled Nursing Services include, but are not limited to wound care, dressing changes, administering and monitoring I.V. therapy, administering medications and injections.

Long-term Care: Some residents may need quality health care services on a long-term basis, and we are proud to offer the area’s finest long term care services. If you require long-term-care, we offer personalized care plans in a nurturing environment where staff are concerned about your individuality.

Short-term rehabilitation: To achieve the best outcome possible and improve your quality of life, each patient’s program of care is customized according to his or her particular needs. It may include physical, occupational, or speech therapy, or a combination of these services. Our goal is to help you prepare for your greatest level of independence when returning home.
