Nestled in the lowcountry landscape, beside a placid lagoon, lies NHC HealthCare, Bluffton — a state-of-the-art rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long-term care residence.

This brand new, fully furnished facility hosts 120 large, bright, and fully equipped patient residences with private bathrooms. Common areas within the residence are open and  airy by design and allow for lots of natural light.

NHC HealthCare, Bluffton has many outstanding features including excellent restaurant-style dining and a private dining room for special meals, parties, and events. A robust schedule for all residents includes a wide range of daily activities and the opportunity for plenty of volunteer programming coordinated by our onsite Activities Director. And, just so you always look your best, we even have an in-house beauty salon and barbershop!

Our brand new rehabilitation center houses a 40-residence wing for both short-term and extended post-acute care. However, if you don’t require an inpatient stay, we can still deliver all your rehabilitation needs on an outpatient basis. NHC HealthCare, Bluffton retains a full staff of highly trained onsite therapists whose mission is to get you back to work, or home, as soon as possible. Our range of therapeutic services includes physical, speech, occupational, and respiratory therapy, and medical nutrition programs.

Welcome to the area’s only secured skilled memory care facility. Our private, 40-bed memory care residence is supervised 24-hours a day, seven days a week by some of the area’s most highly-skilled memory care professionals. Our specialized caregivers are specifically trained to treat those suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. The mission of our specialized staff is to promote an active and high quality of life for our residents.

Our brand new, long-term residences are situated on a private wing of the facility. All 40 residences have a private bathroom, large windows for lots of light, and your choice of wood or carpet floors.
