Our Campus

McKendree Village is located in a suburb of Nashville, TN, between two beautiful lakes. Our 42 acres include wooded areas for nature walks, streetlights and sidewalks, and sunny garden spots.

McKendree is convenient to Nashville International Airport and just minutes from downtown cultural events. We're close to hospitals, churches, between two lakes, and a variety of shopping options. And if you don't want to drive, we've got transportation to get you there.

Caring.
At McKendree Village we subscribe to the philosophy of Quality Loving Care (QLC). This concept has been described as a full step beyond kindness and a quantum leap beyond customer service. This level of focus is necessary to support wellness of body, mind and spirit. Pastoral care professionals deliver QLC in a variety of settings.
In addition to individual visits, counseling and prayer sessions, we facilitate grief, care givers and other support groups for persons in various kinds of transitions. QLC means that our ministry is available to residents and family members in their time of deepest need.

Convenience.
When new residents arrive at McKendree Village we actively encourage them to remain involved in their home church as long as that is practical. We believe that is good for the resident, good for the local church, and good for McKendree! When the weather is inclement or getting out is no longer possible, we want them to know that their spiritual needs will be met through services provided at McKendree Village. For residents who are looking for spiritual services, we lead three community worship services each week, offer Holy Communion monthly, teach Sunday School, lead a weekly prayer group, Bible Study and have weekly devotions.

Community.
There are many aspects of community life at McKendree Village. We live together, eat together, and worship together. One of our special community blessings is to interact daily with the many retired ministers, retired missionaries, and other leaders that provide a wealth of experience and knowledge from a variety of faith traditions.

Independent Living

Whether you're ready for an apartment or still want the privacy of a stand-alone home, McKendree has something for you. Both our Towers apartments and Cottage homes offer the best of retirement living.

At McKendree, you'll have dining services, a health clinic, a pharmacy, a salon, a bank and a sundry shop — just steps away from your front door. Work out in the wellness center or take aerobics classes in the indoor pool. Or just relax in the library, computer lab or billiards room!

The Towers

The McKendree Towers allow active seniors total freedom and privacy — and a home that is truly their own. The Towers offer panoramic views and a variety of apartment styles and sizes.

Our hospitality desk is staffed 24-hours. Downstairs, you'll find dining, a clinic, a beauty/barber shop and other retail shops.

Assisted Living

A few steps away from the Towers is the Manor, for residents needing a greater level of support. Residents may choose from a variety of services that help with the activities of daily living: medication reminders, help with dressing and bathing, etc.

The Manor also offers a special program of assistance for persons with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. Our Memory Care Residence provides a safe environment with a home-like atmosphere and specially trained caregivers.

Healthcare Center

When seeking rehab nursing care for yourself or a loved one, you are looking for the highest level of quality and experience. The McKendree Village Healthcare Center provides nursing services in a warm and personal setting that focuses on quality of life, dignity and comfort.

The Healthcare Center is just a few convenient steps away from the Manor, Towers and cottage homes. An enclosed connector provides protected access between the Towers and Manor.
