Sam Swope Care Center is not your typical nursing facility. Thinking happiness is as critical to our residents as the treatment they receive, we've created an environment that feels more like home than a medical setting. We have private households that overlook a waterfall courtyard and beautifully landscaped grounds. It's the future of health care now on our Louisville campus.

The Pillars Assisted Care Center

A licensed personal care facility, The Pillars offers a comfortable and modern home for those who desire independence, but need around-the-clock nursing care.

Individual and companion suites, complemented by personal services

Designed with maximum flexibility in mind, The Pillars gives residents a choice of spacious suites with full baths, cable television and private telephones. Larger suites with kitchens and expanded living areas are available for couples.

Sally's Garden

Sally's Garden is a memory care neighborhood for seniors with moderate levels of Alzheimer's or other dementia-related disease. Our comfortable and secure environment with supportive programs helps residents extend their independence for as long as possible.

Sally's Garden is named in honor of Sally A. Bowers, administrator of Masonic Home of Louisville for more than 17 years. Sally made a significant difference in the lives of people at Masonic Homes, and her compassion and personal commitment to excellence continue to inspire our staff.
