Madison Manor
Madison Manor has been providing quality skilled nursing care for over 40 years.

We are one of the oldest facilities in Madison County and have been meeting the needs of the elderly since the mid 1960’s. We are a small, home-like facility with a down-home atmosphere. Felita Smith, our Administrator, has served Madison Manor for 20 years. We have several certified nursing assistants with more than 20 years of experience. Familiar faces give us all a sense of security, especially those who may be confused or anxious. Madison Manor provides more registered, licensed, and certified staff per resident than the average Alabama facility.
Madison Manor is a federal and state-licensed 80-bed facility, providing skilled and intermediate nursing and rehabilitative services. It is our mission to provide the resident with the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychological well-being, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment and plan of care.
We offer Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services.
Physical therapy focuses on problems with loss of movement, strength, motion, balance and skin breakdown to accelerate recovery, prevent impairments and minimize wounds and contractures.
Occupational therapy assists residents in relearning activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, dressing and feeding to restore their highest level of independence.
Speech therapy helps increase the residents’ ability to express their desires as well as the restoration of swallowing skills following a stroke or due to neurological or muscular diseases.
Since our therapy places an
emphasis on educating both the patient and family regarding proper exercise, diet and positioning techniques, progress should continue at home following the short-term stay in the facility.
Our Restorative Nursing staff focuses on maintaining the level of function for our residents. They work closely with therapy to continue the exercise program in place.
Our Restorative Nursing staff also operates our dining room program. Every resident eats in the dining room. This ensures correct food consistency, proper food temperatures, and assisting those residents in need. Attending the dining room for meals ensures socialization at least three times daily.
