Needing assistance doesn’t need to mean assisted living. Here are just a few of the ways that our caregivers can offer loving and competent assistance to make your life at home easier:

• Meal preparation as well as making sure the food in the kitchen is fresh.

• Light housekeeping, laundry, and changing the bed linens.

• Assistance with medication reminders, grooming, dressing and monitoring for bath safety.

There is no cookie-cutter solution; we customize our services to meet our clients’ needs. All services and schedules are tailored to the needs of each of our clients, and we are available from a few hours a week to around-the-clock care. Our charges are based on an hourly rate, not by the services we provide, so there are never any surprises.

Moreover, we set our bar even higher. Our caregivers clock in and out using our client’s home phone. This gives our clients and their family members additional piece of mind; knowing they are being accurately charged for the services provided.

Lowcountry Companions hires only the A-list of caregivers. Each employee is carefully screened through a thorough background check, bonded, and insured. They are extensively trained upon hire, as well as through mandatory in-service trainings. We handle all of the billing, payroll, insurance and taxes for you. While many of our caregivers are medically certified, we are also proud to say that well over half of our staff are seniors themselves! Ultimately, we hire only caregivers that we would want taking care of our own family
