Every family situation is unique. That's why our Professional Geriatric Care Managers, credentialed experts in geriatric care with specialties in social work, nursing and mental health, work closely with each family to understand their specific situation. Based on a clinical assessment, the geriatric Care Manager develops a custom Plan of Care. The Braille Institute is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to eliminate barriers to a fulfilling life caused by blindness and severe sight loss. Each year Braille Institute serves more than 75,000 people. They provide an environment of hope and encouragement through integrated educational, social, and recreational programs, services, classes, and seminars. The Braille Institutes rich history dates back nearly a century and is operated and funded almost entirely through private individual and foundation sources.
