Kemper House is a freestanding licensed Residential Care Facility dedicated entirely to caring for persons living with all stages of memory impairment resulting from diagnoses such as Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Programs

Long term residential care is our primary care program, but we have several other options to meet your needs. Whether its day care, overnight stays, regular weekends away, or longer vacations stays, we are happy to accommodate your needs.

Short Term Respite Stays

Sometimes family caregivers need a short break. Whether it's for a few days or several weeks, Kemper House welcomes short-term stays as a way to support and assist families of individuals living with the effects of memory impairment.

During a stay at Kemper House, your loved one will receive all of the wonderful care and assistance that Kemper House provides to our long-term residents. You'll also have peace of mind knowing that your loved one will have an opportunity to socialize while participating in daily activities and enjoying delicious meals and snacks with other residents.

"Any Time of Day" Care

All of the care, activities, meals and stimulating environment provided to our long-term residents is also available to individuals on an hourly or per-day basis. And that means "any time of day" at Kemper House! Family members who work, nighttimes that are difficult, or regularly scheduled breaks are just some of the reasons people choose to take advantage of our unique "Any Time of Day" Care program.

"Any Time of Day" Care is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Individuals enjoy the same care and amenities as our long term residents, including assistance with meals, toileting, bathing, dressing and ambulation; medication administration by a nurse; recreational and social programs; resting and sleeping accomodations; all in a secured environment.

Options for Couples

Kemper House is one of just a few facilities nationwide that offers rooms for couples. The greatest benefit of the spouse living with the person with dementia is the improvement on their quality of life. Our suites are large enough to accommodate a queen-size bed, dresser, dining table and two chairs, sofa, recliner and television. Spouses pay a nominal daily fee for meals and other services if they do not require health care services.

Not ready for assisted living? Your loved one can benefit from the exceptional care and services Kemper is known for, in a setting of your choice. Kemper Home Care provides services in the home, at the hospital during a short stay, or wherever your situation requires. You can expect the same personalized care, stimulating activities, and proven methods you would experience at Kemper House, in the environment of your choice, from a Care Partner trained to meet the specific needs of those with memory loss
