We are a healthcare facility that offers post-acute health care services designed to assist patients in rebuilding strength, functioning and independence following a hospital stay for an acute illness or injury.

It is our goal to return our patients to the highest levels of independence and we support our residents in returning home whenever possible.

Long-Term Services

Hurstbourne Care Centre provides long-term eldercare services to those residents who need assistance in their daily activities of living and for whom living independently at home is no longer possible.

Our center also provides a greater level of care than assisted living centers, providing peace of mind for their families.

Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services

Rehabilitation services include specialized therapies such as physical, occupational and speech therapies. Designed to return each individual to the highest level of functioning and independence, these services are initiated following an assessment/evaluation and are delivered according to a physician's instruction.

We offer a wide variety of features in our facility, including enclosed courtyards, barber/beautician, cable television hookups, husband and wife accommodations, spacious lounge and day rooms, religious services, personal laundry services, conference room, private visiting rooms and formal dining rooms.

Activities

Hurstbourne Care Centre is pleased to offer many different activities, including arts and crafts, exercise groups, movies, cards and games, planned outings and site-seeing trips, religious services, dances and other social/cultural events.

We encourage family participation in all activities! You are welcome to visit between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. We also offer you the opportunity to join your loved one for a lunchtime or evening meal.
