At Harvest Home we work hard to provide the highest quality care to our residents, while taking a personal interest in their well-being. We are family owned and operated, and daily interaction between residents and management personnel is the rule rather than the exception. This close association with the daily operation of Harvest Home allows management and staff to be responsive to the needs and concerns of residents and family members alike.

Harvest Home is licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services to care for up to 60 individuals in an assisted living environment. This size makes us an ideal choice, as we are large enough to offer the amenities of a larger facility, yet small enough to provide the individualized care that each resident deserves. This personal attention and the genuine compassion of our staff set us apart from other facilities.

Resident Amenities and Services

Standard Amenities and Services included in the monthly rate at all levels of care include:

• Bathrooms with walk-in showers
• Emergency & service call notification system
• Individually controlled heat/air-condition units in each suite
• Privacy lock with key
• Resident laundromat on site
• Inviting reception/living area with fireplace
• Community dining room
• Lounge/library with large screen TV
• Satellite TV access provided in each suite
• Toiletries and necessities (light bulbs, toilet tissue, toothpaste, bath soap, shampoo, etc.)
• Country-style home-cooked meals and snacks
• Bed and bath linens provided (for twin beds)
• Weekly housekeeping service with daily maintenance
• Planned social, recreational, and cultural activities and outings
• Medication assistance

Additional services available for a nominal fee include:

• Beauty and barber salon services
• Laundry service for personal articles
• Private telephone line, in-room
• Guest meals

Resident Events and Resident Life

At Harvest Home we are committed to improving and maintaining quality of life for our resident's, and our ambitious activity program is proof of that commitment. We maintain a full-time, state certified activity director on staff, and every month brings something new and exciting.

In addition, our regular activities throughout the month include:
