Hart Felt Ministries
A Christ-centered organization providing at no charge, through a network of community volunteers, non-medical support services and companionship for the frail elderly who require assistance in living independently. Hart Felt has been serving the Jacksonville community since 2004.
About Us

Hart Felt was founded in 2004 by Jane Hart after hearing the Lord's call to action. Since that time, word has spread across Jacksonville and the rest of the country regarding what Hart Felt is doing. Volunteer ranks have expanded to over 200 people, while the client list now numbers over 350. Many thousands of hours of volunteer time are being invested in our elderly neighbors and friends to help them "age in place".
What We Do

We serve elderly and disabled adults across the Jacksonville area who need non-medical help and companionship. All services are provided at no-cost to the client. Chores ranging from light housekeeping to providing transportation to medical appointments may be performed. Our goal is to assist our clients to continue living independently as long as possible.
Our Services
Hart Felt Ministries offers several non-medical services.
PRACTICAL: Our volunteers prepare light meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry. We help with organizing, assist with communication, perform minor home repairs, run errands, and provide transportation to doctor appointments. There is no charge for our services, and they are performed with a helpful friends-and-neighbors attitude.
