What We Do

Our mission is to ease the relocation process for seniors and to provide them with peace of mind during an otherwise traumatic time. We plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of a move with a completely hands-on service. From planning and picture hanging to making the beds…we take care of every detail.

Move Manager

Each move is directed by a Move Manager who will be with you every step of the way. As your advocate, confidant, and friend, our Move Manager will cater to your every need and concern.
Moving Day

Imagine coming into your new home on moving day with furniture in place, clothes in the closet, phone and TV connected, beds made and picture hung. That’s entirely possible (and expected) with Gentle Transitions.

Initial Complimentary Consultation

A Move Manager will meet you at your home and provide you with a written estimate for the services that will be utilized on your move.

Prepare and Plan

• Sorting and decision-making
• Space planning/new floor plan
• What to keep, sell, donate, or gift
• Determine moving timetable
• Make arrangements for the moving van
• Utility changes, forward mail

Professional Packing

• Provide boxes and supplies
• Carefully and efficiently pack all items

Moving Day

• Final packing
• Meet and direct movers
• Unpack and Resettle
• Unpack and remove boxes
• Arrange furniture
• Make the beds
• Hang pictures
• Connect telephones, TV's, lamps, and computers
• Finishing touches

Retirement Communities

The services are also be a great benefit to retirement communities by providing a solution for prospects who want to make a move, but are overwhelmed by the moving process itself and don’t know where to begin.

• Helping those who have committed to moving to a community, move in sooner!
