To assure that you enjoy every moment of your day, we offer laundry and housekeeping services. We come to your door daily to clean your bathroom and empty your trash. We wash linens and towels as needed and provide cleaning of personal laundry weekly and your whole apartment is cleaned and vacuumed weekly.
KEEP MOVING
We have a variety of daily activities, scheduled entertainment in house and outings of your choice. We also offer shopping trips, church services and bible studies. If you want to continue learning, sign up for an adult education class or if you enjoy staying fit, join us in the weekly exercise class. Whatever your pleasure, our creative staff has an answer.
WHO KNOWS BETTER THAN YOU
We recognize that this is now your home. A Resident Council was created to give you the opportunity to have input on the running of your home. Monthly meetings or the suggestion box provide two ways for you to let us know what needs to be changed or improved. Help us make Brownstown's Forest View the natural place to be for you, be an active part of the Resident Council.
Brownstown's Forest View features a parlor with a fireplace and two lounge areas for your comfort and enjoyment. Whether you want to relax with a good book, visit with other residents, watch a movie, or participate in scheduled activities, ample space is provided. The center also has a beauty salon on site and the option to enjoy a relaxing aromatherapy bath.
Outside Service Providers
To assure that we meet all your needs, several outside agencies come into our home to provide service. Home health nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy can be provided in the privacy of your own room. We have a house physician who is available for consultation or you may invite your own physician to visit you on site. We also offer assistance in locating other needed services such as a dentist, podiatrist or any other health care provider. If you or a loved one is in need of hospice, we work with local agencies so our residents can receive palliative care.
Brownstown's Forest View provides three delicious meals a day. We offer a restaurant style dining room so you can relax and enjoy conversation with friends. We offer a variety of snacks and food supplements for those who require them and are happy to provide specialty diets as needed. A private dining room for special occasions or family functions is available. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this room. It is a great way to share your new home with those important to you.
