When seniors, people with disabilities, or others need long or short-term assistance with their daily living needs, home is the most comfortable and convenient place to receive care.

Family Home Care Services provides non-medical personal care assistance, homemaker and companion services to seniors, people with disabilities, those recovering from surgery, new and expectant mothers and others. Options include 24 hour live-in care, hourly care and bundled services.
Our experienced, compassionate and dependable caregivers provide our clients with loving care and compassionate assistance to help make their lives easier and to retain their independence, while providing their families with the peace of mind that their loved ones are safe. All of our caregivers pass a thorough background assessment process, including a multi-state background check, criminal record assessment, motor vehicle assessment and drug screen. Family Home Care Services, LLC is licensed, bonded and insured so you can be assured you are receiving the best possible assistance. If needed, our Agency also provides services to individuals who may reside in an assisted living facility or nursing home.
Companions may provide a wide array of services, including:

Providing social opportunities and friendship
- Home Safety Assessment
- Driving or accompanying the client to apppointments when necessary
- Shopping and performing other household errands
- Reminding clients to take their medication
- Providing hygiene assistance, including: bathing, dressing and grooming
- Supervising ambulation and helping to prevent falls
- Taking care of personal laundry and bed linens for the client
- Preparing and serving meals according to client’s dietary needs
- Nutritional Support
- Cleaning the bathroom
- Cleaning the kitchen, including washing dishes after meals
- Mopping the floor
- Cleaning the client’s room, which includes dusting and vacuuming
- Providing respite for family caregivers
- Helping with correspondence to family and friends
- Going on walks and encouraging and participating in stimulating activities
Family Home Care Services recognizes that certain illnesses and afflictions are more common to seniors. Therefore, we provide special training to our caregivers on communicating with persons who have Alzheimer’s and related Dementia, Hearing Loss and Aphasia, which ensures a higher level of care for our clients. If nursing or full home healthcare services become necessary, we can refer you to an appropriate home health care agency.
