The Evansville Protestant Home is one of the few nursing homes in Evansville that offers both assisted living services and 24-hour comprehensive and skilled nursing care in the same facility.
The Evansville Protestant Home is tucked away on fourteen beautiful wooded acres and is an affordable choice for independent apartment living. There are three types of apartments available. Our home also offers comprehensive and skilled nursing care 24 hours a day for those individuals with special needs and requiring specialized services.

Activities
With three full time Activity Directors, things are never dull at The Evansville Protestant Home. We offer a variety of activities to suit all types including organized outings, musical programs and much more. We even have our very own chapter of The Red Hat Society — The Evansville Protestant Home Classic Ladies!
The Evansville Protestant Home is truly a community, which means there are social opportunities aplenty!
For residents who want to be active, there's always things to do at Evansville Protestant Home. Residents have opportunities to meet their neighbors by becoming involved in the community. Share your talents and knowledge with the local community by volunteering. The Red Hat Society meets regularly for those ladies over 50 who enjoy special events like teas, theater outings, picnics and more. Soak up the warmth around the fireplace with a hot beverage while meeting new friends.
Nursing Care
We offer nursing care 24-hours a day on our North and South units in private and semi-private rooms. Residents receive the best in care by certified and licensed nursing staff, with an above-average caregiver-to-patient staffing ratio. The Evansville Protestant Home now accepts Medicare and private insurance.
Rehabilitation to Home
Are you having a hip replacement or knee surgery? The Protestant Home offers a rehab to home program through our therapy department. Physical, occupational and speech therapy programs are developed on an individual basis to get the person independent as soon as possible. Medicare and private insurance may cover most of these charges.
