Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills

Sagamore Hills is a small community surrounded by the picturesque Cuyahoga Valley Metro Park System. Elmcroft is located on five manicured acres bordered by a wooded area that is home to deer that are often seen on the property. The community’s rural feeling is complemented by big city conveniences found in the surrounding areas of Brecksville, Macedonia and Northfield Center, which offer fine dining and ideal shopping for visitors and residents alike.  

Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills is an assisted living and Alzheimer’s Care community offering accommodations for those who may require assistance in their daily living activities. It is staffed 24 hours a day with trained healthcare personnel and offers as much or as little care as a resident may want or need. In addition, Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills has a licensed Health Care Director on call 24 hours a day.

Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills features a full sprinkler system and each apartment is equipped with an emergency call system that may be used whenever the need arises. In addition, all exterior doors may be locked so that a secure environment can be maintained.

Each apartment includes all meals and basic utilities as part of the monthly fee. Also, residents enjoy daily activities, private dining room for family and guests, library and sitting areas, bistro and billiard activity room, housekeeping services and many other amenities. Other services include a beauty/barber shop for a nominal fee.

The emphasis on activities is a main thrust of the service offerings. Social interaction is a vital part of overall good health and Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills is committed to offering residents a full range of social, recreational and spiritual activities from which to choose. Scheduled transportation on the community van allows all residents to take advantage of travel activities.

You’ll find these special Care Coordinators at Elmcroft’s Heartland Village. People with the ability to improve the quality of life for your loved one, not only by providing assistance with their activities of daily living, but also by involving them in structured programming that is meaningful and purposeful. Our Heartland Village offers a memory care program that is built around each individual’s life history, current abilities, and interests.

This “person-centered” approach to care allows us to care for residents as we would a beloved family member or close friend. 

The Elmcroft Dining Experience

All residents at Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills, in Ohio receive nutritional balanced choices at every meal. Our kitchen staff serves traditional favorites as well as original menu creations. . 
Our dining atmosphere is warm and friendly with pleasing table settings. Our staff is dedicated to making sure every dining experience a special occasion.

Breakfast is a vital part of maintaining good health. Elmcroft residents receive a nutritionally balanced breakfast providing the nourishment necessary for the active day ahead.

Lunch at Elmcroft is a highlight of the dining experience. Residents can choose from a variety of tantalizing entrees and lighter fare. Each menu is supplemented by alternative favorites giving residents plenty of choice.

Dinner is a special time when all the residents socialize in our well appointed dining room. Residents receive a 3 course meal and get to choose from a delicious variety of soups, salads, and main courses to suit their appetite.

Our dessert menu is a delightful variety of tasteful masterpieces created by our Dining Services Director. We offer our residents a sweet ending to their specially prepared meals.

Our residents also enjoy occasional al fresco dining, including barbecues, picnics and themed food nights that allow them to experience some casual social time with their neighbors and families.
