About Us

Home based medical care has been a part of the overall healthcare delivery system since the 1960's when the congress passed legislation establishing the Medicare and Medicaid programs. For over 50 years demands from the public, physicians, and insurance companies have expanded the role of home care from a rare occurrence to quite often that of the provider of choice to deliver health care. Research findings over the past 50 years consistently suggest that patients heal faster, are more comfortable, and suffer fewer financial burdens from health treatment when cared for at home.

Physical Therapy

At Denson Home Health our Masters Prepared Physical Therapists focus on rebuilding strength and endurance for our patients.  Our Physical Therapists will help you get back on your feet or help you use equipment that will get you moving in the right direction safely and efficiently.

Occupational Therapy

Focus on helping patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s).  ADL’s are skills such as bathing, dressing, personal care, meal preparation, and eating.  Denson Home Health’s Occupational Therapists enhance patient’s independence and safety.

Speech Therapy

Our speech therapists help patients regain their oral motor functions to swallow and ability to communicate.  At Denson Home Health we strive to help our patients achieve the best possible outcome.

Medical Social Worker

Assist patients in solving issues such as psychosocial aspects of coping with health crisis, financial issues or home assistance needs.

Pediatrics

Denson Home Health is one of the very few home health companies that have special trained nurses under the leadership of a certified Neonatal Case Manager.

Wound Care (V.A.C. Certified)

Denson nurses are trained and certified in V.A.C. wound care to assist healing while in the comfort of their own home.

Diabetes and other Disease Management

We establish a comprehensive approach to manage Diabetes, COPD, CHF, and Hypertension in conjunction with the physician; teaching self monitoring, nutrition, and exercise.

Pain Management

Pain control for long term or chronic pain management under the directions of a physician to achieve optimal pain control, especially if you suffer with long-term or chronic pain.

Home Health Aides

Denson Home Health Aides offer personal care assistance with no out of pocket costs for Medicare patients.

Skilled Nursing

Our Denson Home Health skilled Nursing staff assist patients and families in the home setting to ensure the patient reaches his/her potential at the highest level in the comfort of their home. Including Ostomy care, Foley catheter care, Wound care, Dressing change, Diabetic and Nutrition teaching.
