Independent Living is the predominant lifestyle on our continuing care retirement community campuses, but we also offer multiple levels of care which may include Personalized Assisted Living, Clare Bridge Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, and an on-site Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. This combination of services and living arrangements enables residents to age in place, remaining near their family and friends while receiving care in a familiar environment they trust.

Each of our continuing care campuses provides licensed Rehabilitation and skilled nursing care for short-term recovery after a hospital stay or when extended convalescence is needed.

While some of our assisted living and independent living rental communities also provide this full continuum of care, the CCRC designation often refers to a limited number of our Brookdale retirement communities, where a refundable equity payment (or Entry Fee) is combined with a Life Care guarantee and with various packages of discounted health services to add more predictability to our residents’ futures.
