Services

Central Boston Elder Services provides high quality, responsive, supportive services and programs to the elderly and the disabled in need of health and human services. Central Boston Elder Services seeks in its philosophy to provide services in a manner which reinforces dignity and worth of the individuals and also acknowledges and respects cultural sensitivity, gender and other differences, while serving the community with vision and integrity.

We are committed to partnering with families, caregivers and community entities that embrace the philosophy and our mission to reduce social, economic and health disparities.

The corporate mission of CBES is to provide services to low income, frail elders, which allow them to remain at home and delay or avoid institutionalization. Central Boston Elder Services staff assesses client needs, arrange and monitor appropriate care and advocate for clients as needed. To read message from the Board President . Member - CBES is a member of the Massachusetts Home care Association, Access Community Care, the National Council on Ageing, the American Society on Ageing, the Massachusetts Association of Older Americans, and the Massachusetts Public Health Association.

Each client of Central Boston Elder Services (CBES) is assigned a case manager to develop an individual care plan. Case managers oversee and keep clients up-to-date of elder advocacy programs and are knowledgeable about benefits, funding sources and guidelines for services and program beyond the scope CBES. As the needs of each client changes, case managers make the necessary adjustments to ensure proper care is as responsive as possible. Some services offered are:
