Since 1988, Catholic Hospice has been providing responsive end-of-life care to patients and families in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties. We have continued to realize success through our ongoing dedication toward putting people first. We are Licensed in the State of Florida, and Medicare/Medicaid Certified. Catholic Hospice is affiliated with Catholic Health Services.

When curative medical treatment is no longer an option, the focus shifts to supporting patient’s quality of life

Catholic Hospice is a community-based not-for-profit program serving the South Florida community since 1988. Catholic Hospice provides responsive end-of-life care for patients of all ages and faiths, and assists families in caring for a loved one with reverence and dignity at the most vulnerable time in life’s journey.

Our patients, residents and those who use our services are our first responsibility.

The Hospice Team

Catholic Hospice utilizes a team of professionals to provide the highest quality hospice care for you and your family members.

Services

Upon admission to the program, a plan of care is developed by the interdisciplinary team to meet the specific needs of each patient-family unit. The professional staff is on call 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

Comprehensive Services Provided:

• Physical care including medical and nursing services.
• Medications, medical supplies and equipment.
• Assistance with insurance paperwork & other matters of financial concern.
• Pain control and symptom management, as well as dietary guidance.
• Spiritual and emotional support in accordance with the family's own religious network.
• Family education regarding patient care, medications and what to expect.
• Professional grief counseling and support.
• Practical care such as bathing and assistance with daily activities.

Additional services that may be required to serve an individual's specific needs.
