BrightStar Care Elizabeth/Shepherdsville
The care we provide empowers our clients to live well at every stage of life and in every setting.
We know how overwhelming the responsibility of caring for a family member can be. We once needed help caring for a loved one, but didn’t know where to turn to give her the quality of care, and the quality of life, she deserved. Compelled by a need to find care that was more — more dependable, more supportive, more complete — we founded BrightStar as a family business in 2002 to provide the full continuum of homecare, (including adult and elder care) childcare (including newborn care, babysitter and nanny services) in addition to medical staffing services for individuals, families and healthcare facilities.
When families and their loved ones need assistance, it’s critical to choose a provider who can offer high quality, compassionate care you can trust. BrightStar is here to help reduce the stress and anxiety that can occur during these times, and create greater peace of mind for both the individuals in our care and their families. Whatever your family’s needs are, whether it’s for one hour or 24, seven days a week, we can help – any time, any place.
Our highly skilled care professionals provide care to anyone who needs it – from infants to seniors, wherever they need it; medical services tailored to your loved one’s needs. Our personal care services include personal hygiene care like bath visits and grooming, home safety evaluations to prevent unnecessary accidents, outpatient pre- and post-op support to ease stress before and after surgical procedures as well as medication reminders to stay on track with prescription doses. We also offer highly skilled services, like high-tech nursing for those in need of specialized neurological care, blood sugar testing, home infusion therapy, hospice assistance, a wide range of services for people with disabilities and/or special needs, pediatric nursing as well as physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
“Yes we can!” is the underlying service philosophy we live by at BrightStar. We are here to make life easier for families and their loved ones. We strive to make more possible in the lives of the individuals, families and organizations we care for. Each BrightStar client receives a personal, in-depth assessment conducted by our Director of Nursing that, among other things, takes into account their condition, personality and environment. We then put that knowledge to use, creating an individualized plan of care that meets our clients’ unique physical and emotional needs – a plan that strives to not only improve their health, but enhance their quality of life. This process, along with continual oversight by our nursing staff, helps us ensure the right fit between our clients and their caregivers, and enables us to quickly modify a client’s plan of care as their needs evolve.
BrightStar has a unique understanding of the issues today’s families face, struggling more and more to find time for even the most basic activities amid ever-busier lives. Finding experienced and compassionate caregivers can be a challenge – but it doesn’t have to be. Our services focus on improving the health and wellbeing of those entrusted to our care and our clients count on us for outstanding care and just about anything else they need, anytime, anywhere — so they and their loved ones can get the most out of life. Our qualified, compassionate caregivers go above and beyond to make more possible – more support, more joy, more laughter – in the lives of those we serve by truly engaging those in our care on an individual level.
Our services include comprehensive, around-the-clock companion care for anyone – of any age – who needs it. Whether it’s sitter or nanny services, providing home support by helping with laundry, light housekeeping and meal planning and cooking, or respite and relief for family caregivers, our caregivers are willing to give more of themselves to their work. BrightStar care professionals can also provide outside support, like helping with shopping and errands, adult and senior transportation to and from doctor appointments and social events in addition providing travel companionship as well as new mother support. We strive each and every day to get to know our clients to plan activities that will be both stimulating and enjoyable.
