What is "Home Health"

As we age, we will find that we require a little extra help than we may be willing to admit to. In some cases we may require being transferred to a retirement home in order to get the support, but in others we can still maintain a certain level with the aid of "Home Health Care"

The primary aim of home health care is to allow the individual to stay at home for as long as possible, or until is it unfeasible for them to be living at home.

• Skilled nurse direct and plan your nursing care with your doctor's guidance.
• Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy will be available for rehabilitation.
• Skilled Nurses available for services such as vital signs, wound care, catheter changes, medication supervision, infusion therapy, and more.
• Recovery from stroke and other challenges gets better when rehabilitation occurs in your home environment.
• Health education related to disease condition, diet, medication, etc.
• Medical Social Worker provides assistance with emotional, social, and financial problems of the patient, for fast recovery.
• Home Health Aide provides for the patient's personal hygiene and activities of daily living (like helping with grooming, bathing and personal care) under direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
