Home Care Services
Bayada Nurses provides a comprehensive range of home health care services to meet the needs of our clients 24 hours, 7 days a week. Call Bayada Nurses if you or a loved one needs any of the following services at home:
Nursing and Therapies
Bayada Nurses registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) provide nursing care for children, adults, and seniors in the comfort of their own homes. Whether managing chronic conditions or aiding recovery through post-surgical care, our multidisciplinary team of
health professionals works in consultation with the client's physician to develop an individualized plan of care.
Treatments include, for example, wound, respiratory, tracheostomy, diabetes, and colostomy care, as well as injections and other medication administration. Nurses also educate the client about his or her condition and provide ongoing assessments to the physician.
Our therapeutic services are conducted by certified professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and qualified social workers.
Personal Care and Support
Supervised by our RN Clinical Managers, Home Health Aides can provide personal care to you or your loved one, including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and simple physical exercises.
Our additional non-medical support services can also assist with household management, companionship, and respite care.
Homemakers help you or your loved one with errands and household management, such as meal planning and preparation, and general housekeeping, to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
Companions focus on well-being and provide social interaction, physical activities, and cognitive stimulation through recreation, escorts to appointments, and more.
24-hour live-in companions are also available to provide support for primary caregivers who may need time to tend to their own needs.
Pediatric Services
Nothing is more important than the health and well-being of your child. At Bayada Nurses, we care for your child with a family-centered approach and work in collaboration with you and your child's
physician to develop a comprehensive, written plan of care.
Our pediatric caregivers are thoroughly screened, trained specialists who embody the Bayada Nurses values of compassion, excellence, and reliability. With services at home or at school 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our pediatric offices specialize in caring for medically fragile children from newborn to adolescence. We also provide palliative, rehabilitative, therapeutic, and general pediatric care.
BayadAbility — Rehabilitation at Home
Bayada Nurses offers specialized rehabilitation nursing services called the Bayadability Program. Bayadability is available for clients who have sustained disabilities following catastrophic injury or chronic illness or who are recovering from orthopedic procedures (such as hip or knee replacements), other surgical procedures or deconditioning after a hospital stay.
When indicated, one of our Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses (CRRNs) will meet the client and family in the hospital (prior to discharge) to perform an assessment of the client's diagnosis and formulate treatment goals. The CRRN will also visit a client's home to assess the adaptability of the home environment, equipment needs, safety and accessibility. By performing this assessment, we can help improve cost-effectiveness by ensuring efficacy and preventing the purchase of inappropriate equipment.
Working closely with doctors, therapists, insurance companies and equipment providers, our CRRNs perform client evaluations and provide input on appropriate care and equipment. If necessary, the CRRN (or her designate) will directly supervise a client's home rehabilitation program.
Another vital component of the Bayadability Program is teaching and training the client, family and caregiver. Experience has shown that client learning and competence improves significantly in the familiar home setting. Our team also helps clients resolve psychosocial problems related to the injury or disability-including issues related to sexuality, interpersonal relationships and economics.
Through the rehabilitation process, the Bayadability Program teaches clients to integrate new skills, home safety, adaptive equipment and positive coping mechanisms into their home, community, work and family lives.

Ongoing supervision
Once hired, all caregivers are supervised by a registered nurse, who makes regular home visits to ensure the health and safety of our clients. Our caregivers are also required to demonstrate their competency annually with hands-on skills assessments and performance evaluations.
24-hour clinical support
Bayada is committed to our clients' safety. Both our clients and our caregivers have access to 24-hour clinical support. Each caregiver in the field also has a dedicated clinical manager in the office who supports them, and each clinical manager has a companywide nursing office that supports them with the latest clinical information, mentoring, and best practices.
Commitment to education and training
We believe in continuously improving our work through evaluation, education, and training. Our programs include a range of instruction, written exams, hands-on skills lab work, and opportunity for time in the field to perform a client's care prior to independent assignment. All caregivers also undergo annual skills evaluations and have access to in-services and scholarship opportunities.
