Our mission is to enrich the lives of frail and impaired adults, their families, and the community through specialized adult day services, respite care, education and support.
Serving Guilford County for more than 23 years, the Adult Center for Enrichment (ACE), is a private non-profit agency whose mission is to enrich the lives of frail and impaired adults, their families, and the community through specialized adult day services, respite care, education and support. ACE offers three adult day centers, three group respite sites, CarePartners at Home, and Caregiver Education.

ACE at Caldwell House
The Rachel and David Caldwell House

Caldwell House is the renovated manse of Buffalo Presbyterian Church and sits at the corner of N. Church and 16th Streets. Certified for Adult Day Care/Day Health with a maximum of 16 participants daily.
Operates from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

ACE at River Landing
River Landing at Sandy Ridge

It is located just off Sandy Ridge Road about two miles down from the farmers market. Certified for Adult Day Care/Day Health with a maximum of 42 participants daily.
Operates from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

- An experienced staff person pairs caregivers with a trained volunteer who has been screened with a thorough background check.
- The volunteer provides friendship to loved ones while giving caregivers an opportunity to do things they may not be able to do while caring for their loved one.
- CarePartners at Home staff and volunteers provide support and a sympathetic ear.
- Connections are created to the greater community.
- Volunteers are friends, both to the caregiver and their loved one.
